Installing a skin with just a .dll file:
- Don't let the .dll file put you off. A skin installer will do the exact same as these instructions do. Windows Live Messenger stores all the Messenger resources in msgsres.dll.
- Close down Windows Live Messenger.
- All the msgsres.dll files in our database are in a zipped folder. You need to unzip them. You will be left with a imsgsres.dll file and maybe some other files.
- Go into your Program Files directory and then into the MSN Messenger directory. Rename msgsres.dll in that directory to something like 'msgsres_backup.dll'. This will become a backup of the current Messenger resources.
- Copy and paste the msgsres.dll file you unzipped, into the MSN Messenger directory.
- Open up Windows Live Messenger and enjoy using your new skin.
- To uninstall the skin you can either re-install Windows Live Messenger or simply delete the msgsres.dll file and rename your old backup ('msgsres_backup.dll') back to msgsres.dll.

الترجمة ::

العملية تبدأ من الخطوة الثانية .,
قومي بإغلاق جميع ايقونات الماسنجر اللي في الاسفل

وذلك بالنقر نقرة عليه باليمين ومن ثم exit
2-كل ملفات msgsres.dll موجوده في ملف مضغوط .. عليكِ بفك الضغط عنه .. ستجدين ملف msgsres.dll وربما ملفات أخرى
3- اذهبي الى My computer ومنه الى Local Disk cومنه الى Program Files وبعده الى ملف MSN Messenger ستجدين ملف بإسم msgsres.dll قومي بتسميته الىmsgsres_backup.dll
4-قومي بنسخ الملفات التي كانت في ملف الضغط الذي قمتي بتحميله ..والصقيها في ملف MSN Messenger
5- الخطوة الاخيرة قومي بفتح مسنجرك وبالهناء والعافية عليك الثيم الجديد ., =)
6- اذا لم يعجبك الثيم وتريدين ازالته ., هنالك طريقتان .. اما ان تقومي بإعادة تحميل الماسنجر ., او انك تقومي بحذف ملـــــــف msgsres.dll (الذي الصقناه في ملف MSN Messenger ) .. والملف الذي غيرنا اسمه الى msgsres_backup.dll نرجعه الى اسمه الطبيعي وهو msgsres.dll
